Patient Update during Coronavirus lock-down

Please be aware that the surgery is running as normal but rather than face-to-face appointments, patients are now offered a telephone consultation or an electronic communication when they first contact the surgery.

If a doctor or nurse feels they need to see a patient they will arrange the appointment directly with the patient and advise them on how this will happen.

So, if you are unwell, please do not hesitate to contact our reception team or use Footfall to seek advice. Our nurse team are continuing to see children for their first immunisations and pre-school boosters generally at our Fernhurst Surgery; they are also continuing to do first cervical smears and any women on an early recall. We can also offer contraception advice, give essential injections and see patients for urgent dressings.

Please do not drop off urine or any other specimens unless you have been asked to do so by a nurse or a doctor.
