As a Practice we are participating in the COVID-19 vaccination program.
We have contracted Procare to provide the local vaccination service to our patients.
As a result of this there may be a requirement for your information to be shared with them if you are eligible for the vaccine. This information will be shared to support your direct care. Those working at the local vaccination service will only normally have access to the information which they need to fulfil their roles.
Further information about our processing of your Personal Data can be found in our Privacy Notice.
When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccination, you will receive an invitation to come forward. This invitation may be via the phone, text or through a letter. The invitation may not be sent from your GP, it may be from Procare who are providing the local vaccination service, or the NHS directly.
We know lots of people will be keen to get protected from the virus but we are asking people not to contact the practice to get an appointment as you will not be able to get an appointment until you are contacted directly.
More Information Available
Lots of common questions are answered, plus extra information about the rollout of the vaccine in Surrey Heartlands is available here.
We all have an important part to play to help the NHS:
- Please do not contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, the NHS will contact you.
- When you are contacted, please attend your appointments.
In the meantime we cannot let down our guard. Please follow the rules to stop the spread of coronavirus.
