About me:

Hello my name is Fionnuala Broderick (Finn). I have been a Registered Mental Health Nurse since 2009 and have a background of working in various acute wards settings and community based settings. I am currently employed by (SABP) Surrey and Borders Partner NHS Foundation Trust and West Waverley PCN.

I see patients 18 years + and can offer a 40 minute appointment for an assessment of their mental health and/or social vulnerabilities and discuss what support is available to them in the community. Post assessment some of the things I can support with the following

  • Referral to counselling and Psychological therapy services
  • Referral to Primary and Secondary mental health support services, including 1:1 support
  • Offer mental health medication advise
  • Refer to drug and alcohol services
  • Bereavement service signposting
  • Undertake Neurodevelopmental screenings for ADHD and ASD and refer for further diagnostic assessment
  • Cognitive screening if suspected dementia/memory problems and/or concerns
  • Finance and employment signposting
  • Referrals for social care and family support
  • Referrals to Social prescribing for support with local connections, integration into the community supporting with social isolation, activities and meeting other people and general wellbeing
