Dr Panchaud is Retiring!

Haslemere Health Centre announces the retirement of Dr Marcus Panchaud on 8th May 2025, after 35 years of dedicated service to the community.

Dr Panchaud joined the practice in 1990 as a trainee and became a partner a year later.  Over the years, he served as senior partner and GP trainer, playing a key role in mentoring future generations of doctors.  Known for his evidence-based approach and compassionate care, he has built strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Dr Panchaud reflected: "I have really enjoyed the last 35 years working as a GP Partner at Haslemere.  The time has flown by.  It has been a privilege to get to know all my patients and care for you over all these years.  I will miss the human contact and I hope you feel I have made a difference.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team in this special Practice has been an honour.  I am confident that I leave you in the excellent hands of all my colleagues and thank you all for being part of my life for such a considerable time."

He will be greatly missed by all at Haslemere Health Centre.  We wish him the very best in his well-earned retirement.

Dr Paul Cooper will be taking over his list of patients.Kind regards

Dr Phil Ridsdill Smith
